SEGUIN, Texas – The University of May Hardin-Baylor men's soccer team tied Texas Lutheran University 2-2 Monday night in Seguin. The Cru moved to 2-1-1 overall while the Bulldogs now have a record of 1-1-3 for the season.
UMHB opened the contest with a quick score from
Karsen Macias off an assist from
Sawyer Young in the third minute. The Bulldogs tied the match 1-1, scoring the equalizer in the 26
th minute and then took their first lead with a second goal in the 55
th minute. The Cru used a goal by
Alex Bethke in the final minutes to finish the contest in a 2-2 tie.
The Cru totaled 11 shots with six on frame. Bethke led UMHB with four shots all on goal while Macias added three shots.
Dalton Lloyd spent all 90 minutes in the goal, recording five saves.
UMHB will return to action Friday, September 23
rd in a 7:00 P.M. contest against Trinity University in Belton.
