ALPINE, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's soccer team played a hard-fought match at Sul Ross State University Saturday afternoon in Alpine, ending in a scoreless draw. The Cru moved to 5-3-2 on the season while the Lobos moved to 1-7-3 overall.
UMHB outshot the Lobos 21-8 with 11 on goal. The Cru was led by
Sawyer Young with five shots and two on frame, while
Keven Daniel and
Xjavier Martinez added three each with two on frame.
Hayden Owens was in the goal for UMHB, recording four saves.
UMHB returns to action October 12
th in a 7:30 p.m. contest against University of Ozarks in Belton.
