BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor football team placed 19 athletes on the All-American Southwest Conference teams, released Thursday.
BJ Stewart was also named ASC Offensive Player of the Year and Tri-Special Teams Player of the Year.
BJ Stewart, a senior from Shreveport, was named ASC Offensive Player of the Year and Tri-Special Teams Player of the Year. He led the conference with 62 receptions on the season, totaling 776 yards. He scored a conference-high 11 touchdowns, averaging 12.5 yards per catch and 86.2 yards per game. Stewart also led the conference with 552 kickoff return yards and 200 punt return yards. He ran back one kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown and one punt 61 yards for a score, both in the same game. Stewart averaged 46 yards per kickoff return and 15.4 yards per punt return, totaling 1,542 all-purpose yards this season. He was also a first-team selection at both wide receiver and return specialist.

Asa Osbourn were also First Team All-ASC Offense selections.
Will McClintock, a senior tight end from Riesel, finished with 12 catches this season for 208 yards. He averaged 17.3 yards per grab with one touchdown catch.
Joseph Montez, a senior offensive guard from San Antonio, started in all 10 games with a player grade of 96%. Montez totaled 28 knockdowns with just one sack allowed.
DJ Greer, a freshman offensive tackle from Fort Worth, started in nine games in his first year with the Cru. He earned a player grade of 90%, tallying 25 knockdowns and giving up just two sacks.
Carson Gaido, a senior offensive tackle from Georgetown, started in all 10 games for the Cru this season. He averaged a player grade of 95% with 29 total knockdowns on the season. Gaido allowed just one sack in his senior season.
Asa Osbourn, a senior running back from Denison, ranked fifth in the conference with 589 rushing yards. He averaged 4.5 yards per carry with 10 touchdowns this season. Osbourn also added 213 receiving yards on 26 catches for an average of 21.3 yards per game. He also tallied one receiving touchdown.

Te'Ron Brown, a senior defensive lineman from Orange, totaled 20 tackles this season with 5.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. He forced 29 yards lost on the season, adding four quarterback hurries. Brown also had one fumble recovery for a touchdown with two total fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.
Brandon McGruder, a junior defensive end from Little Elm, finished with 25 tackles this season, including 17 solo tackles. He ranked second in the conference in tackles for loss (13) and sacks (six), totaling 78 yards lost on the season. McGruder added two quarterback hurries and one forced fumble in his first season at UMHB.
Izeal Jones, a junior linebacker from Houston, ranked second in the conference with 70 total tackles, putting up 35 solo tackles and 35 assisted takedowns. He added two tackles for loss with four pass breakups on the year.
JJ Davis, a junior defensive back from Houston, finished with 62 total tackles this season including 39 solo. He added 3.5 tackles for eight yards lost with one interception, one pass breakup, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble.
Da'Marion Morris, a junior defensive back from Orange, finished with 57 tackles, 29 solo. He added two interceptions with one pass breakup. Morris also recorded 3.5 tackles for seven yards lost this season.

Jack Hight were named Second Team All-ASC Offense.
Kirkland Michaux, a senior quarterback from Austin, completed 64% of his passes this season, throwing 141 completions. He totaled 1,842 yards in the air with 16 touchdowns and a 70-yard long. Michaux averaged 205 passing yards per game and added 51 total yards on the ground with one score.
Kamerin Ferguson, a senior running back from Decatur, rushed for 492 yards this season on 84 total carries. He had a 70-yard long and averaged 55 yards per game. Ferguson also rushed for six touchdowns, adding 113 yards receiving and one score.
Jack Hight, a freshman kicker from San Antonio, kicked 35 extra points for the Cru this season, adding four field goals. He totaled 47 points scored in his first year with the Cru.

Gavin Brzezinski and
Samuel Steffe were Second Team All-ASC Defense selections.
Gaige Sanders, a sophomore defensive end from Magnolia, made 20 total tackles for the Cru this season. He added 11 tackles for a total of 50 yards lost with 5.5 sacks for 38 yards lost. Sanders also had a pair of quarterback hurries with one blocked kick on the year.
Gavin Brzezinski, a junior linebacker from Cedar Park, totaled 46 tackles this season with 22 solo. He started the season at defensive back before moving to linebacker. Brzezinski had a 100-yard pick six in his debut as a linebacker, totaling two interceptions on the season with one quarterback hurry. He added two tackles for loss and one fumble recovery.
Samuel Steffe, a senior defensive back from Aledo, finished with 39 tackles this season, including 27 solo. He added three tackles for eight yards lost with two interceptions, adding five pass breakups and one fumble recovery.
Noah Gasque was named to the Outstanding Sportsman Team of the Year. Gasque, a junior from Pasadena, exemplifies the Code of the Cru both on and off the field. He is a first-generation college student who excels in the classroom and shows up each day with a positive and encouraging attitude.
This is the second all-conference award for Brown, Morris, Montez, Gaido, Osbourn, McClintock, Brzezinski, Steffe and Ferguson. UMHB won a share of the 2025 American Southwest Conference Championship this season, its 19
th time earning the title.
