RICHARDSON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's soccer team edged the University of Texas at Dallas 1-0 Saturday evening in Richardson. The win improved the Cru to 6-2-1 on the season and 3-0 in American Southwest Conference action while the Comets fell to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in league play.
Allison Porter scored the go-ahead goal for the Cru in the 64
th minute, scoring off a deflection to give the Cru a one-goal advantage and win.
Chelsea Graham,
Taylor Marques, Kat Parker and
Sarah Rempe led the Cru with three shots each while Porter had two. UMHB outshot the Comets 19-17 in the contest, putting eight shots on goal.
Cassidi Musser earned the win in the net for UMHB, making four saves in the shutout win. Monica Dallacasa took the loss for the Comets, allowing one goal and making six saves.
